Most people know God Almighty is our provider. The scripture says, every good thing comes from him. James 1:16, says, don’t be deceived… Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father in heaven.
Every one of us is so busy seeking blessings. God created it in our human nature, that we thrive in blessings. We all know, we don’t prosper in doing bad, we can only prosper in doing good.
Some people think prosperity means getting a lot of money. The prosperity the bible is talking about is joy, peace, strength and security in Christ, which is more important than money. But this doesn’t mean that God doesn’t bless us with money to pay the bills. Of course, he does it in his own way. He blessed Jacob with livestock, silver and land. David and Solomon were also very rich. Jesus, on the other hand, had none of those things, but he had power.
As mentioned in the previous post, God examines our hearts and minds in detail, and he blesses every right action. This is the issue, we all start with a lot of blessings – the innocence of a child carries a lot of blessings; Jesus mentioned the wisdom of children is instilled by God.
I didn’t understand these things before, thank God I can understand now. It is God’s will that we should seek his blessings. He is pouring out blessings like rain. Our job is to live a life of blessings, which means we should live the rest of lives seeking blessings. Every biblical scripture carries a blessing.
Here is the issue, we start with a lot of blessings, but as we get older the blessings start disappearing one by one. Most of our blessings disappear because of sin. (Adam’s sin) Hmm…it is hard to hear but it is true. Well, it is God’s plan, he gives and takes away. For when a blessing is taken away that’s when we starting thinking deeply; we start analysing the situation and try to come up with solutions; we even see another open door.
God’s door is always open to every human being; when people wake up from their slumber they enter it. They enter it because of the knowledge; they enter it because of Jesus; they enter it because they want to be saved; they enter it because life has become harder, etc.
So, this is what we need to know, pearls of life are in the Bible. When we are in Christ, God releases more blessings; I’ve seen it in my own life and other people’s; for when you’re in Christ you get a transformation. This is the truth; when you believe you gain more blessings. When you read a scripture, you gain a blessing. When you do what it says you get a blessing. But, as we all know, every sin is got a curse attached to it; when you do a bad thing, something bad happens.
God has a way of restoring broken people; it doesn’t matter what situation you find yourself in. All kinds of people are restored in Jesus. Sometimes, you may feel sad because of the blessings you have lost. But when you use wisdom you’ll find that there is benefit in that as well. When you lose something, God replaces it with something else.
God has divided life in two; the High zone (light) or the low zone (darkness). The high zone uplifts us; the low zone brings us down. Christianity is living life in a high zone; Jesus was the happiest person who has ever lived on planet earth. He had a perfect portion of love, kindness, power, holiness, etc, which is similar to God Almighty. When Jesus became sad, it was only for a very short time. So, when Jesus is in us we gain what he has. There is nothing better than that in this world.
Almighty God says, ‘I have set before you, blessings and curses; then he says, choose blessings; choose life. Deuteronomy 30:19. When he says this, he also refers to Jesus…because eternal life is in Jesus. Jesus said, no one can come to me unless the Father draws the person, and I’ll raise them up at the last day…they will be taught by God. Any one who listens to the Father and learns from him comes to me…no one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. John 6:44-48. So, here is Jesus telling us what we need to know.
