ARE YOU CONNECTED TO JESUS CHRIST?

We live in a world where connection to something is crucial.  Many of us want to be connected to something of real significance; many of us think if only I get connected to that person, I can get on a ladder;   when we get connected to certain countries, and good family networks,  we feel better or safer.

Jesus Christ is the most powerful person who has ever lived on earth. He said, all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. God the Father was happy to give him everything that belongs to him, including his Kingdom. That’s why he wants mankind to connect to Jesus. The scr. says, he is the tree and those who follow him with a sincere heart, are the branches.  John 15. Jesus says, I’m the vine you’re the branches. If a person remains in me and I’m in them, they’ll bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. For without Jesus, there is no forgiveness or salvation.

It doesn’t matter who you’re, whether a prophet or a religious leader. God’s plan will stand forever – Jesus is the only plan of salvation.

God Almighty has divided existence of the world in two time zones before the end. The first phase (the Old Testament) before Jesus…and the second phase (after Jesus). Jesus said, things will get worse. (Matt. 24)

The bible says, he’ll wipe out everything and then there will be a new heaven and the new earth. (1 Peter 3) I can understand that because, as you can see the world is full of chaos and getting worse.

Going back to the first question, which is significantly important in terms of our survival. God Almighty has given us only one reliable source of information, which reveals his thoughts – the Holy Bible. The creator of the universe wants us to connect to Yesuah (Jesus). If you want to have access to God Almighty, you have to be in the right position. There is a barrier between us and God, which is created by our sins. If you want to be approved by God Almighty, you must connect to Jesus.

How do you connect? There are things we must do;

  • To believe in everything he says.
  • You must be born again. John 3 (it is a total spiritual transformation; your mind is renewed)
  • We must get baptised – it is like signing a contract between you and God/Jesus in other words you get united with him  (Your whole body has to be immersed in water) Colosians 2:12
  • We must read the bible. God wants us to know what happened in the past (the old testament), he wants us to live life according to the new testament, so every time we read the bible and do what it says we connect.
  • And we must repent of our sins

I love evangelism, which I’m doing here as a way of serving God our Father and Jesus our Saviour. I also love talking to people. On the street I speak to all kinds of people from different religious backgrounds. When I speak to the Muslims about Jesus, some respond, some don’t. I realise that, God wants us to explain to them, so that they can also be saved. And those who respond to the message of Jesus will be saved.

The problem a lot of people have is lack of knowledge and understanding. It also shows in the Christian environment; that’s why there are unnecessary divisions, which Jesus mentioned. God who created us knows that we are limited in so many ways, for example, our understanding of things is limited; He and Jesus have perfect understand but we don’t. Both have perfect intelligence which we lack; we forget easily but they don’t; we panic when the pressure is on, but they don’t.

When I spoke to a guy who shared his story, he stated – he suffered from depression; he even tried to stab someone and ended up in a mental hospital. He then said, ‘when he heard the message of Christ, he looked deep into his life, and had a transformation’. There’s no human being who hasn’t been messed up by sin.  Jesus came to fix us.  That’s why he says, therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the stream rose, and the winds blew, and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had  its  foundation on the rock.  (Matt. 7:24-27) So, there you’ re; it is very clear! In life, we need a strong foundation in order to survive; Jesus is the strongest foundation we can have, even when problems or  temptations come our way, we hold on to him and his teachings.

Sadly, many are not connected to Jesus; there are those who go to church meetings but are not connected.  Many of them are in Catholic churches, protestant churches, etc.  A good heart is required to connect; where by a person listens carefully to what Jesus says, and then acts upon the word of God. So, as you read all the questions in here you’ll get to understand that they’re all connected to the Bible. They’re designed to examine ourselves.
