When a person turns a way, does he or she not return? (Jeremiah 8:4)
This is an interesting question God used to speak to people at that time, which applies to us too. God who created us knows us inside out – he sees our emotions, deep feelings, thoughts, motives, and behaviours; He also hears the words we say and sees the words we write. The scripture says, ‘Nothing in all creations is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him, to whom we must give account.’ (Heb. 4:13)
Back to the question; as you now, normally, when we love someone or something, we always return to the person or to it.
When we have a conviction about something, we always think about it. When we understand the benefits of the plan, we go back to it. Most of the things in life operate circles, meaning continuous operations and actions whereby you return to where you started from. And in some sad cases, people engage in continuous distractive behaviours and deceptive ideas.
And in the Christian walk, many of us, read the Bible, attend meetings continuously, in order to gain from it. So, most of our lives require the process of returning consistently to the area of positive production and harvest. God gave us a plan of fruitfulness – a plan of empowerment, redemption, happiness, hope, and forgiveness – a plan of Jesus Christ. This is a plan we have to feed from consistently, in order to succeed in life.
God Bless you!
