WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN?

Why do bad things happen?

This is a question many of us ask ourselves, which is also connected to the teachings of Jesus, in order, to examine ourselves and the world we live in.

The world, as you know, has been bombarded by problems and chaos for thousands of years, since the fall of man – Adam and Eve.

We learn from the Holy Bible, that the problems started when Adam and Eve sinned against God, which has caused problems and death for all man-kind. The world will always produce birth pains, which are exposed in our lives, cities, and nations.

I read Psalm 33:10-1; and it says, ‘God foils the plans of the nations‘ (meaning things turn upside down). ‘He thwarts the purposes of people‘ (meaning our plans are filled with disappointments and heartache). ‘God watches all who live on earth; he who formed all, considers everything they do.’ (Psalm 33:13-14)

But God’s plan and his purposes stand firm forever throughout the generations. His saving plan is to empower, to uplift, to encourage a human being positively, thus giving peace.

So, the question is ‘Why does God allow problems to happen to all of us? God uses problems to point us to righteousness and to his plan of redemption in Christ. And he wants people to be saved and to submit to Jesus’ teachings of righteousness. Incidentally, he will do anything to wake us up!  And in my experience, when the big problems came to my life, my faith was awakened, my understanding was enlightened, and I turned to God. It was the best decision I have ever made, which is also crucial to every human being to decide their destiny. Some of us, who have embarked on the narrow road, our faith will always be refined through the good and the bad experiences.  In the end, problems carry a blessing in disguise, which is connected to repentance and spiritual growth in Jesus.

So, repentance is fundamentally important, because without it, there is no progress or peace. The Bible is very clear in the teachings of God: when a person repents of their sins, God blesses them. And another answer to the question – problems happen due to disobedience, the stubbornness of heart, evil behaviours, etc.

Disobedience to God Almighty carries consequences – fear, pain, heartache, misery, confusion, destruction, etc. The Bible teaches us that curses are attached to all sins and obedience to God Almighty carries blessings. (Deuteronomy 28) The Bible also teaches us that a human being who feels guilty of sin, and misery is more likely to seek forgiveness and to seek God. But, unfortunately, someone can go through bad experiences, and still fail to find God, due to stubbornness and negative thoughts, which are normally planted by the Devil. (Hosea 5:15)

Jesus said, ‘There will be wars, earthquakes, famine, and diseases (Luke 21:10-11) which are the signs from heaven to indicate that the fallen world will end one day. So, that’s a message to ponder. God bless you!

WHAT ARE YOU ASKING FOR?

Oh, this is an interesting question which is connected deep to our hearts.

Well! We all have our wish list.  This is crucial in terms of our development, progress and happiness. By the way, when you wish, don’t play games by twisting your wish list into something that takes you on the harm road.  C’mon, you are too precious to be on a twisted road. So, as a wish is synonymous with a desire, one has to be careful what they desire.  And the question is, what do you really desire to expand your life to the greatness God wants you to be?

Okay… Jesus said, ‘If you remain in me and my words remain in you ask whatever you wish and it will be given to you.’ (John 15:7) Now I probably know what you’re thinking, ‘Oh, I have all these things on my list: which one can I ask first?

Oh, hang on!  Don’t ask for those millions to indulge in materialism. He says, ‘Get on the narrow righteous road,’ which carries all the blessings of God – Jesus’ way. (Matthew 7:13-14)

So, in life, as always, we a normally get things we wish for. For example, a child who wishes for a good fruit will always get good fruits. A good fruit is not just delicious and sweet, it carries the healing elements the body needs. And this is synonymous with the importance of wishing for the good things of which God approves.

The scripture tells us, ‘Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person reaps what he or she sows. The one who sows to please their sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit (Jesus) from that Spirit will reap eternal life.’  (Galatians 6:7-10) We also learn from the Bible, that we should continuously do good acts, in order to reap a harvest.

Thus, Jesus helps us to understand that if you desire good things in life and are connected to God’s will, they will come; likewise, if you desire the wrong ones, that’s what you’ll get. However, sometimes a person may say, ‘I wished for a marriage, or a good job, but to no avail.’  Many times, things come in God’s timing, not our timing: and if you didn’t get something, there is always a good reason why it didn’t happen. One of them, you were not ready or not capable of handling it.  And I’m sure many of us have had those experiences of not getting what we wanted, which also means we didn’t need it at that time.  In the end, before you wish for something, do some self-examination. Once a preacher stated that he wanted to be a fireman, but lacked the self-esteem to fulfil it.  In the end, he ended up being a preacher (a better option) which was in his wish-list.

Back to the question!  What does God want a person to ask for?  We learn from the Bible that a person must ask for any thing connected to God’s will; e.g. for guidance (the Holy Spirit), peace, forgiveness, wisdom, help, understanding and salvation. Jesus teaches us the importance of asking God in his name, because that’s how God Almighty planned it – he provides through Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, ‘I tell you the truth my Father will give you whatever you ask for in my name.’ (John 16:23) Thus, we should ask wisely according to God’s will.

God bless you!

THE POSITION OF POWER

Dear readers,

It’s been a while since I posted, but I’ve been occupying myself with other projects – including travelling for mission work. Nevertheless, I have to convey the message which Jesus has put on my mind, regarding the position of power.

As you know, the world has come up with its own systems of power connected to money, company positions, government positions, etc.  And the problem is, we sometimes forget that man-made positions are unstable and disappear as time goes by.  But there is an organisation which is the most powerful in the world, and has God’s approval – Oh yes, you’ve guessed it – the church (the children of God who put the Bible into practice).

Now let us look at the God given position of power of which we all start from.  ‘What do you mean?’ You may ask.

I will explain!  The moment we land on the planet as babies we hold a position of power, given by God.  It is a position of protection, purity and connection to the will God and Jesus, of which we don’t sin or listen to Satan. This position is also manifested in the hearts of little children. Little Children have a humble heart, of which they respond to the word of God, without arguing or doubt. That’s why Jesus said, ‘Unless, you humble yourself like a little child, you will never enter the Kingdom of God or heaven.’ (Matthew 18:3-4)

Here is the issue! We have a problem, as human beings, when we fall into temptations and sin, and lose something in us which is so precious – a sense of peace and dignity.  And the problem with sin, as you know, it belittles, disgraces, and damages a person, who succumbs to it, and this has been implemented by Satan in the spiritual realm.  So, all actions of sin diminish our power, including bad attitudes, false philosophies or false religions.

So, how can we regain our position of power?  The answer is, you’ve guessed it, Jesus. He delivers us from the darkness to light and restores us in the Kingdom of God.  That’s why Jesus said, ‘You must be born again.’ (John 3) For the position of power God wants us to operate in, is based on truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and love. Jesus also said, Seek the Kingdom of God first (Matthew 6:33) That’s our number one purpose.  After that, other things will be added on to us, e.g., food, clothes, good relationships, etc.  For who doesn’t want more out of life? We all do, don’t we?  C’mon smile!! That’s better.

But even with that big smile of yours, you have to know the other side of life.  A human without faith in God and Jesus is in a very weak position. They have no hope for salvation, limited understanding, and are just wanderers on the planet.

You may think to yourself, ‘Oh, no I’m not just wanderer.’  Well examine yourself!  A wanderer is someone who lacks knowledge of God, doesn’t understand his Salvation plan in Jesus, make decisions without Godly wisdom, relies on their own understanding, pursues man-made their own agenda without much satisfaction, do whatever they want to do, and fall into the hand of Satan.

The Bible says that when Cain messed up, and operated outside God’s will, he became a wanderer on the face of earth (moved away from God’s designed purpose and ended up with no proper direction).  Jesus explained perfectly when he mentioned the narrow and the wide road in life. (Matt. 7:13-14) Every human has to a make a decision which road to take, with consequences in mind. For the narrow road is led by Jesus, but the wide one is led by Satan. So, a person who is living on the wider road is a wanderer.  I’m sure after reading this part, some of you, are a bit sad. Well don’t be, because the next part opens your mind.

So long as there is time, there is hope, which means, a person has power to change their mind; for when you humble yourself, God will help you to find your way out of the wilderness. Thus, when a person operates in the will of God, they gain knowledge from the Bible and act upon it.  For God uses Jesus to guide mankind into righteousness and truth.  For when a person obeys Jesus Christ, they gain the power of knowledge and salvation.  Incidentally, lack of knowledge and understanding is dangerous to a human being.

The Bible says, ‘People perish for lack of knowledge (the truth).’ (Hosea 4:6)   Oops, some people don’t want to hear this, but it is true. Knowledge is power!

One of the things God has given a human being is the power of the mind, which, as you know, is above other creatures on the planet.  But the mind needs the nourishment of the word of God, in order to be on the right track.  Also, the mind which is driven by your spirit is hungry for guidance in righteousness, and for the truth.  However, when Satan attacks our mind with negativity, we find ourselves on the confused and unhappiness road. Listen! No one wants to be confused! It is a waste of time.  And please don’t waste time in meaningless endeavours which are full of false information.

Finally, we all know that doing the right thing is the answer to every problem. And if you try to twist the righteousness of God, you fall from grace. The word of God in Jesus is pure and perfect. It cannot be twisted to suit your own desires. The Bible says, Jesus is the word of God. (John 1:1) And when a person connects to the word of God, and live upon it accordingly, they connect to the power of Jesus, which is full of peace, hope and forgiveness. And that person will live forever in total happiness. Imagine that! C’mon smile again!!  God bless you!

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

As humans we are relatively connected in the sense of reasoning, questioning, and actions. Many times, we find ourselves rotating in different angles of circumstances of which we ask ourselves, ‘What do I need to do?’ And as we ask ourselves, God asks as well, ‘What do you need to do?’

As I keep on mentioning in this blog, God asks questions to expose our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Father God knows all our problems have solutions; for He has laid solutions in our situations, but sometimes, we don’t even see them, due to lack of wisdom, pride and distractions.

So, when God Almighty asks this question, he wants you to find the answers which are hidden in his wisdom.  But the problem is, sometimes, when you try to get an answer, an enemy comes along to give you the wrong solutions, which are designed to make you fail. And that enemy is? You guessed it! Satan is the master planner and schemer who provides answers of entrapment and confusion.

Incidentally, a question of need is different from want; for sometimes, we want something we don’t even need. A need leads you to righteousness – seeking God, learning from the Bible, going to church, seeking good friendships, eating properly, ascertaining a good marriage, having children, getting a suitable job, etc.

So, the question of ‘what do you need to do?’ is encompassed in the hidden gems of the bible, which solves the human chaos, weaknesses and confusion. The Bible says, ‘You reap what you sow,’ which is so prevalent in all our endeavours and decisions. We also learn from the Bible, righteousness prospers a person, while wickedness destroys the soul.

So, next time, you ask yourself a question of what you need to do to win the battle of your life, the answer is Jesus the Saviour. The Bible says, when people heard the message the asked, ‘What shall we do?’ Peter replied, ‘Turn away from your sins, and be baptised in the name of God the Father, and Jesus Christ, and you’ll receive the Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:38 & Matt.28:17-20)

God Bless you!

IS THE BROKENESS HEALED?

Is your brokenness healed?

Okay, this is a big question!  As I keep mentioning, God Almighty helps me to understand how his questions are manifested in our lives.

Life is a journey of ups and downs; and we learn from both.  Every human goes through the brokenness, which normally happens in our hearts; for a when problem comes it seats in our mind, and then works its way through the heart.  But the truth of the matter is, sometimes, a human has to be broken in order to get better. Throughout life, a person may encounter many problems, but they will also experience the occurrences of healing.  So, the question is, ‘How do you quicken the healing?’ And the answer is, ‘The wisdom of God.’  Every problem has a solution which is embedded in the word of God – the Bible; for instance, the Bible tells us to be fruitful, to love God, to seek the Kingdom of God, to pray, to think wisely, to be good to everyone, etc.  Also, when we get sick, we seek deliverance; and if the problem still persists, give it to God, and enjoy life in the blessings you still have.

So, just like a problem, the healing varies, it may come for a short time or vice versa.

Jesus said, ‘In this world you will have troubles, but take heart, for I have come to overcome the world.’ Who is he talking to?  To anyone who listens!

You have to remember God is a problem solver; consequently, he delights in solving problems because he has the absolute power to do it, for nothing is impossible with him.

A person may ask, ‘Why do I still have this problem? And why is the world spiralling out control, and things are seemingly getting worse?’  We live in a broken world; and problems are designed to humble us before God.

A human was designed to have a loving relationship with God Almighty, so that he or she can have a fulfilment in life.  However, the devil has broken that relationship due to sin.

So, the question is, ‘What can a person do to rebuild that relationship with God, which is the biggest healing of all?’ And the answer is Jesus the Saviour. Jesus said, ‘No one comes to the Father, except through me.’ John 14:6

WHAT IS THE PLAN?

Many of us answer this question in regard to the things we want to do in life.  And many times, a person thinks, ‘It is my life; I can do what I want.’  Hey, your life is not totally yours to misuse or to do whatever your thoughts lead you. Your life will be held for accountability and judgement before your Creator.  I know many of us don’t want to hear the judgement word, because it tickles our ears.  Hello dreamer, when you’re sleeping and your house is on fire – wouldn’t you want someone to wake you up?

So, when you plan, God is watching you! I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I have to elaborate a bit more. As you know, some of our plans are beneficial and enriching; for instance, many of us get into good marriages and then have children, which are connected to God’s plan. (Genesis 1:27-28) We also try to help someone, do some cooking, gardening, etc.

Let me illustrate another scenario; when a farmer plants the seeds in the good soil, he or she delights in the harvest; in the end, we are all farmers – we plant and execute our ideas for the sake of happiness.  And there’s no creature on the planet earth that delights in the law of giving more than a human being.  For when a human copies God’s character they can be good at it.  As you’re aware, if you want emulate God Almighty, copy Jesus’ character.

So, what are we learning here? Every one of us has to understand the two systems that are operating in the world. The two systems are in conflict with each other; every system is designed to capture human beings; the first one (the good system) was created by God Almighty, the second one (the bad system) was created by the devil.  The devil’s system (Babylon) is based on anything bad you can think of – in other words, it is a system of disobedience, and rebellion towards God.  Thus, destructive to a human being.

The devil is also called a spirit of lying, unfaithfulness, prostitution, pride, murder, temptation, etc.   Listen People – we’ve all been manipulated and lied to by the devil. The Bible teaches us that people stumble day and night due to lack of knowledge and understanding.  (Hosea 4:5) Also we learn from the Bible that the devil disguises itself as an angel of light, creating religious beliefs that stop people from getting saved through Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:14)  Another scripture says, ‘If an angel or another gospel teaches you something that is dissimilar to Jesus Christ, it will be condemned.’ (Galatians 1:8)

The truth is we have a battle on our hands. Many people ask, ‘Why did God Almighty allow Satan to entice human beings to do wrong things?’  While I’m writing this, the Holy Spirit (the spirit of truth is manifested in Christians who are willing to obey the scriptures) helps me. (John 14:16) There are many reasons, of which God can only answer.  But we learn from the Bible that the devil was allowed to challenge our freewill, decisions and obedience before God.  The Bible also mentions, Satan was allowed to exercise its power over people, tribes, languages, and nations – in other words, it gets all kinds of people to worship it in its own plan. (Revelation 13:7-8)  In addition to that, the devil also attacks those in God’s plan, with the intent to diminish their faith. Incidentally, Satan cannot do something without God’s permission. (Job 1: 1-5, Luke 22:31)  We also learn from the Bible, that many problems in the world are caused by the devil.

But God has given us the way out, based on His system, and perfectly tailored for a man-kind – for it is constructed in truth – Jesus said, ‘I’m the way, the truth and the life.’ (John 14:6) When you think about life, you realise that every time you do good in the eyes of God, you gain a blessing – peace and joy; but the moment you do something bad, you lose respect and peace of mind.  Therefore, the devil’s system weakens a human being; it is full of fear, ruins a human being to the core, destroys relationships, and makes people find happiness in the wrong places. But God’s plan, on the other hand, protects, stabilises, and prospers us. For it is perfect in Jesus Christ, holy, full of righteousness, and increases our happiness.

We learn from the Bible that ‘Every good thing comes from God.’ (James 1:17-19)  Consequently, if you want to enter the good system, (the Kingdom of God) you have to fight the enemy (the devil); incidentally, it is not difficult to fight the devil, for when you use the word of God (Jesus’ teachings), it flees away.  Remember, Jesus taught us how to pray, and said, ‘Let your Kingdom come; and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Delivery us from the devil’s schemes.’  Even though the devil is strong, it is scared of God and Jesus.  Why? Because, it knows, it will be destroyed in the end.

The scripture says, ‘Jesus is seated at the right hand of God in heaven.’ (Colossians 3:1) which also means God has given him all authority. (Matt. 28:29)  Moreover, it was God’s plan from the beginning; the Bible says, Jesus is the Alpha and Omega. (Revelation 22:13)  The beginning and the end,  which also means the message of God, started and ended with Jesus Christ in mind.   When God said, ‘I have a plan to prosper you…’ (Jeremiah 29: 11-13) – he was talking about Jesus. ‘Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved,’ (Acts 4:12)   The voice of God that spoke to the disciples from the cloud, still speaks today. ‘This is my son, whom I love; Listen to him.’ (Mark9:7)

The system God created is synonymous with light of the day; that’s why Jesus said, I’m the light of the world.’  (John 8:12) So, when you live your life according to Jesus’ teachings, you’re in God’s plan.  And you’re like a good tree that bears good fruits.  In conclusion, every human has to make a decision which plan they must enter – God’s plan or the devil’s one. And the most privileged people in the world are those who are in his plan of salvation.

WHEN A MAN TURNS AWAY, DOES HE NOT RETURN?

When a person turns a way, does he or she not return? (Jeremiah 8:4)

This is an interesting question God used to speak to people at that time, which applies to us too. God who created us knows us inside out – he sees our emotions, deep feelings, thoughts, motives, and behaviours; He also hears the words we say and sees the words we write.  The scripture says, ‘Nothing in all creations is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him, to whom we must give account.’ (Heb. 4:13)

Back to the question; as you now, normally, when we love someone or something, we always return to the person or to it.

When we have a conviction about something, we always think about it. When we understand the benefits of the plan, we go back to it. Most of the things in life operate circles, meaning continuous operations and actions whereby you return to where you started from. And in some sad cases, people engage in continuous distractive behaviours and deceptive ideas.

And in the Christian walk, many of us, read the Bible, attend meetings continuously, in order to gain from it. So, most of our lives require the process of returning consistently to the area of positive production and harvest.  God gave us a plan of fruitfulness – a plan of empowerment, redemption, happiness, hope, and forgiveness – a plan of Jesus Christ. This is a plan we have to feed from consistently, in order to succeed in life.

God Bless you!

REASONING WITH GOD

‘What do you mean, reasoning with God?’ someone may ask.

Listen! We all do it.

‘How do we do it?’ you may ask.

As I keep saying in this blog, I’m not going to beat around the bush, I say it, as it is.

We humans have become experts in presenting arguments in regard to actions, ideas, etc. We sometimes give excuses and rationalise our false beliefs. We sometimes take in good information and then twist it around, bend it, and then disregard it.   And we sometimes, take in the wrong information and then twist it around to be true.

So, every action begins with a thought and reasoning, as you know.  And every time we reason and state our case, we present it to God.  Well, a lot of people don’t know this, but it is true – for we inherited it from Adam and Eve.

Now that you agree that a human must give a reason why they do something, examine yourself. As you know, the time we are given on the planet earth, we spend it with all kinds of explanations, ‘I’m doing this, because of this and that.’ In addition to this, we also explain our spiritual beliefs before God.

Consequently, we are so busy processing information in our minds, and we’re planning all the time; but we sometimes, drown in our bad ideas and beliefs, (Jeremiah 17:9-10) because we get deceived by our own hearts. So, after going through the day, we make our bed and sleep in it; for it is our comfort zone and rest; of course, we need to rest from tiredness of the day, and from the problems we have created or vice versa.

The sad thing is, humanity has fallen into the darkness of the devil’s manipulation, (through wrong reasoning and beliefs) which is scratching, pricking, and damaging them. No wonder, Jesus came to our rescue. John 3:16-21

God reasons with mankind; as mentioned before, He started with Adam and Eve, which goes on to all of us.  We also learn from the Bible, that Jesus also gave reasons why a human must be saved – to gain eternal life.  In the book of Isaiah 3:18, God says, ‘Come now, let us reason together…your sins are many; but if you’re willing and obedient, you’ll eat the best from the land…in other words, you’ll will enjoy life in peace.

God asks a lot of questions, which are designed to penetrate a human soul, and to get a human explain why they do, what they do. For example, a question we are all familiar with, ‘What do you want to do in life? This is a deep question, for it opens up our hearts. Many people say, ‘I want to do what makes me happy.’ However, as we get on with life, we fall into many bad traps, which are disguised as happiness, and created by Satan.  Another question that goes into our minds, ‘Do you believe in Jesus?’  Another question Jesus asked Peter which goes to us too, ‘Do you love me?’ Note this – Jesus spoke as God Almighty. So, these questions are crucial when it comes to self-examination, and faith empowerment.  Once you answer them correctly, you are on the road of salvation.

So, the question is – why do we ask questions and give reasons in our verbal communication? The answer is simple – we inherited it from God. We learn from the Bible, that when God does something, he always gives a reason. He gave a reason why he created; because it is good. (Genesis chapter 1) As mentioned earlier, we are always reasoning; for when we become ill, we give reasons why we want to get better – because it is good. When we want to get a job, we reason with a good answer. Many of us give reasons why we believe in God, because it is good. We want to be saved, because it good for us. We go to church, because it is good.

The devil also is uses communication to manipulate a human being; anytime, you reason badly, or believe in a false ideology, you copy its character. Sometimes, people give negative reasons why they don’t have faith in God; Charles Darwin used evolution to lie to others; so, they are so many tactics the devil uses to manipulate a human being, because it acts in hate and falsehood. Also, the devil uses its servants to deceive people, spread false preaching, and to derail people from the truth.

Sometimes when I do evangelism, I ask people whether they are connected to Jesus. Some of them give bad reasons, others, however, understand the reason why they need to be connected. Incidentally, God Almighty uses his servants to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ; for his servants understand the consequences of unbelief, the importance of living in righteousness, reasoning well and using the right words. So, I pray that the message in this blog opens your mind to understand God our creator and his plan for salvation through Jesus. God bless you!

THE KINDNESS OF GOD

The kindness of God is manifested in his love, forgiveness and power. His kindness rains and shines on every human being and every other creature – day in, day out. The scripture says, ‘The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love; he is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. (Psalm 145:9)

When we go through tough times, his kindness gives us strength. ‘The Lord upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all who look to you, you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.’ (Psalm 145:14-19)

In addition, his love and kindness helps us to take on the tasks of the day. The scripture says, ‘I lie down and sleep; I wake up again because God Almighty sustains me.’ (Psalm 3:5)

As you get to know our God Almighty, you can feel his heart and his kindness, when he says, ‘I know the plans I have for you (salvation through Jesus); plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you hope and a future; when you will call upon me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you; and when you seek me with all your heart, you will find me.’ (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

But the question is, do you appreciate his love and kindness?

Many of us appreciate his love when we praise him and say thank you; when we read the bible; when we take his guidance to heart; when we express kindness to others; and when we worship him in truth (Jesus).

God bless you!

JESUS OUR SAVIOUR

Jesus was the most encouraging, loving, kindest, powerful person, who has ever stepped on the face of the earth – the only begotten Son of God Almighty.

When you worry, he says, ‘Don’t worry about life,’ but seek the Kingdom of God first and all these things will be added on to you.’ (Matt. 6:25-34) In other words, take his guidance about life and you’ll be fine.

When you’re hurting, he says, ‘Have faith in God…’ don’t doubt in your heart, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it.’ (Mark 11:22) But remember, we have to ask God according to his will; thus, don’t ask for something which is outside his will. (Please don’t ask for a million pounds; what are you going to do with it? If you’re thinking about self-indulgence, think again! However, if you receive money, use it to pay for your needs, and for the needs of others – helping the poor) Proverbs 19:17

In regard to gaining faith and the Holy Spirit, he says, ‘Ask and it will be given to you. Seek, and you shall find.’ (Matt. 7:7-12) For without the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to be born-again – for a person needs be transformed according to the Bible. John 3:3-8

In regard to salvation, he says, ‘Knock and the door will be opened.’ So, as we listen to him, we learn that God is waiting for people to knock on the door to his kingdom. (If you want to be saved, you’ll knock on the door.)

In regard to sin, he teaches us to be remorseful, to confess, to repent, and to be baptized, because God wants to forgive us . (Luke 24:45-47) Afterwards, he said, ‘All authority in heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.’ (Matt. 28:17-20)

So, everything about Jesus is good and wonderful; he is the core to happiness; he is the doctor to our broken hearts; he is our deliverer from the Satanic influences; he is the door to the Father in heaven; he is seated at the right hand of God. (Colossians 3:1)
